Students were kidnapped on their way home from school” – Kaduna govt clarifies
The Kaduna State Government has addressed earlier allegations about the kidnapping of some kids from the Government Secondary School, Awon in the state’s Kachia Local Government Area on Monday, April 3.
The pupils were kidnapped while on their way home from school, according to a statement published on Tuesday, April 4, by Samuel Aruwan, the Commissioner for the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Kaduna State.
The panel also stated that eight students, not ten, were kidnapped when they came into contact with the bandits who had kidnapped other people.
