LAUTECH secures NUC’s accreditation for five programmes
Agricultural engineering, chemical engineering, fine and applied arts, pure and applied physics, and statistics are some of the recognized courses.
Five academic programs of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo, have received full accreditation from the National Universities Commission (NUC).
This was stated in a statement made on Monday in Ogbomoso by Olalekan Fadeyi, the Principal Assistant Registrar for Public and Alumni Relations at LAUTECH.
In a letter addressed to the Executive Secretary of NUC and signed by Maryam Sali, the Director of Accreditation, Mr. Fadeyi claimed that the institution had received the accreditation.
Agricultural engineering, chemical engineering, fine and applied arts, pure and applied physics, and statistics are among the recognized courses.
The five courses, which span three university faculties, have a 2026 maturity date thanks to the new accreditation status.
According to the letter, already accepted academic programs were accredited in October or November 2021 at LAUTECH by the NUC, according to Mr. Fadeyi.
