DPO Slump And Dies Inside His Office In Lagos
On January 10, SP Mojeed Salami, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of the Seme police division in Lagos State, passed unexpectedly after collapsing at his workspace.
It was learned that the deceased had gone to the hospital on the aforementioned day after complaining of a headache.
According to sources quoted by DailyTrust, the DPO resumed work after returning to his office a little time later, but some hours later he called his orderly to complain about how he was feeling.
He instructed his orderly to call the Divisional Crime Officer (DCO), I believe he intended to hand over to the DCO, the insider said. He met the orderly on the ground, struggling for air. He was rushed to the Badagry general hospital where he was confirmed dead.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesman for the Lagos police, confirmed his death by saying, “He died on Tuesday. Everyone was shocked because there was nothing seriously wrong with his health. They said that he only complained of a small headache, went to the hospital, returned, started working, and then passed away soon after “.
