      .It was filmed in Nigeria in 1926 and premiered in theaters on April 24, 1927. From March to August 1926, a total of five months were spent filming this picture in Northern Nigeria.

      The Oscar-winning Geoffrey Barkas-directed film “Palaver,” which has a running time of 1 hour and 18 minutes, was shot by Stanley Rodwell with the cooperation of the local authorities, who also helped with transportation and getting appropriate images of local life.
