FCM Foundation Scholarship for female undergraduates in selected public universities. The FCM Foundation Board Scholarship (FCM FBS) is now open for applications from eligible Nigerian undergraduate students for the 2024 academic year. This inaugural scholarship program is designed to provide one-time academic support to female Muslim students currently in their 200 and 300 levels at selected institutions across Nigeria.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the FCM Foundation Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Application Documents

Applicants are required to submit the following documents as part of the application process:

  • Student ID card: A valid student identification card from their current institution.
  • Reference letter: A letter from a recognized Islamic organization, addressed to “The Executive Director, First Class Muslim Foundation, Lagos, Nigeria.” This letter should be on official letterhead and provide a genuine assessment of the applicant’s character. Generic letters will result in disqualification.
  • Result slip: A current result slip, signed and stamped by the Head of Department, clearly indicating the student’s CGPA.
  • Personal statement: A personal statement (maximum 400 words) using Century Gothic font, size 12, with 1.5 spacing. The statement should explain why the applicant deserves the scholarship, with the applicant’s full name at the top of the document. The use of AI tools to generate personal statements is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
