AUN gets new vice-chancellor; Dr. DeWayne Frazier has been named President and Vice-Chancellor of the American University of Nigeria (AUN).
Senator Ben Obi, CON, chairman of the university Governing Council, announced the appointment, saying the Board and Council chose Dr. Frazier because of his vast expertise in business and administration at higher academic institutions, as well as his energy and freshness.
Frazier was previously the University Provost at Iowa Wesleyan University in the United States. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Louisville and his undergraduate degree with honors from Campbellsville University.
He is also a graduate of the famed Patterson School for Diplomacy and International Trade on the campus of the University of Kentucky, and he spent his junior year abroad studying at the Imperial College of England.
