The ARES scholarships offer nationals from partner countries the opportunity to enhance their skills in development-related fields. Eligible candidates with a higher education degree and relevant professional experience can pursue a one-year advanced bachelor’s or master’s degree or a 2-to-6-month continuing education program at a higher education institution in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, Belgium.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a national of, reside in, and work in one of the 31 eligible countries (listed below).
- Hold a diploma comparable to:
- A 2nd cycle diploma (300 ECTS credits) from a Belgian university for specialized masters and continuing education courses.
- A 1st cycle diploma (180 ECTS credits) from Belgian higher education for specialization baccalaureates.
- Demonstrate at least two years of relevant professional experience in an ARES partner country.
