FUTO Supplementary Post-UTME Form 2024/2025. The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has opened applications for the Supplementary Post-UTME form for the 2024/2025 academic session. Candidates who missed earlier opportunities can now apply to secure admission.
Who Can Apply
Eligible candidates fall into the following categories:
- Scored at least 40 in FUTO Post-UTME screening: But were not admitted through merit.
- Registered for Post-UTME but failed to upload O’Level results.
- Did not participate in the earlier screening exercise: Must select FUTO as their first choice on JAMB CAPS.
Eligibility Requirements
- UTME Score: Minimum of 150.
- O’Level Results: Must be uploaded to JAMB CAPS by 31 December 2024.
- Departmental Requirements: Candidates must meet specific aggregate scores and correct UTME subject combinations.

How to Apply
Follow these steps to complete your application:
- Visit the FUTO official website and select the “School Portal” option.
- Click on “Supplementary” to generate an invoice using your JAMB registration number.
- Pay the application fee:
- ₦15,000 for previously applied candidates.
- ₦17,000 for fresh applicants.
- Payment can be made online or at designated banks.
- Return to the portal to complete the Application Form and print your submission.
Cut-Off Marks & Subject Combinations
A. Candidates Scoring 150 and Above
- School of Agriculture & Agricultural Technology:
Includes programs like Agricultural Economics, Animal Science, and Fisheries.- Subject Combination: ENG and any three of CHM, BIO/AGRIC, MTH, PHY, or ECO.
- Aggregate Scores: Merit: 40; Catchment: 40; ELDS: 40.
- School of Biological Sciences:
Includes Biochemistry, Biotechnology, and Forensic Science.- Subject Combination: ENG, BIO, CHM, and PHY/MTH.
- Aggregate Scores: Merit: 50–55; Catchment: 45–50; ELDS: 45.
- School of Engineering & Environmental Sciences:
Includes Agricultural, Polymer, and Quantity Surveying.- Subject Combination: ENG, MTH, CHM, and PHY or relevant alternatives.
- Aggregate Scores: Merit: 45–50; Catchment: 45; ELDS: 45.
B. Candidates Scoring 170 and Above
- School of Health Technology:
- Prosthetics & Orthotics.
- Subject Combination: ENG, BIO, CHM, and PHY.
- Aggregate Scores: Merit: 55; Catchment: 50; ELDS: 50.
- School of Basic Medical Sciences:
- Human Anatomy and Human Physiology.
- Subject Combination: ENG, BIO, CHM, and PHY.
- Aggregate Scores: Merit: 56; Catchment: 50; ELDS: 50.
- School of Information & Communication Technology:
- Information Technology.
- Subject Combination: ENG, MTH, CHM, and PHY.
- Aggregate Scores: Merit: 55; Catchment: 50; ELDS: 50.
Important Notes
- The merit cut-off applies to all candidates regardless of state of origin.
- The catchment cut-off applies only to candidates from Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo states.
- Ensure your details on the FUTO portal match those on JAMB CAPS.
- Adhere to JAMB brochure requirements for subject combinations and O’Level qualifications.
